Bugs on a Log

Ingredients:
Celery sticks
Cream cheese or Cheez Whiz or Peanut Butter
Raisins

Directions: 
Fill celery sticks with cream cheese, Cheez Whiz, or Peanut Butter (shown here). 
Put raisins on top ....the 'bugs' on the log.

Bear Paw Biscuits

Ingredients:
A can of biscuits
Brown sugar
Margarine or butter (melted)
Sliced almonds

Directions:
Cook biscuits according to package directions.  Brush each biscuit with melted margarine or butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar.  While the biscuit is still warm, insert five almond slices around the edge of the biscuit so it looks like a bear paw!

Dirt in a Cup

Ingredients:
Chocolate pudding
Oreo cookie crumbs
Gummy worms
Glasses (clear plastic work best)

Directions:
Prepare chocolate pudding according to package instructions.  Fill glasses 3/4 full of pudding.  Sprinkle Oreo crumbs on pudding.   Stick gummy worms in crumbs.  Voila!  Instant cup of dirt, with worms to boot!

Aquariums

Ingredients:
Blue Jello
Gummy worms and/or fish
Glasses (clear plastic work best)

Directions:
Prepare blue Jello according to package instructions.  Pour liquid Jello into glasses and refrigerate until partially set (about 1 hour).   Remove from refrigerator, and insert gummy worms or fish into Jello.  Set until firm.  There you have it:  edible aquariums, complete with worms and fish.





Bears Having a Fruit Picnic on the Grass



Ingredients:
Green Jello

Gummy Bears
Gummy Fruits
Glasses (clear plastic or glass)

Directions:
Prepare Jello according to package instructions. Pour liquid Jello into glasses and refrigerate until completely set. Remove from refrigerator, and put gummy bears around the sides, gummy fruit across the 'grass.' Bears.... having a fruit picnic.... on the grass.





 

Bears At The Aquarium.....  or........ Bears Battling Swamp Monster
(Same recipe -- which name will your 'cubs' prefer?)


Ingredients:
Green or Blue Jello
Gummy Bears
Gummy Worms
Gummy Fish
Glasses (clear plastic or glass)

Directions:
Prepare Jello according to package instructions. Use blue for a nice aquarium scene; green will work better for a swamp monster setting. Pour liquid Jello into glasses and refrigerate until partially set (about 1 hour). Remove from refrigerator, and put gummy fish and worms into the jello – suspending them below and partially above the jello. Return to refrigerator and set until firm. Add gummy bears on top and around the sides. Bears at the aquarium enjoying the view, or bears with scary swamp monster emerging from the depths.....





Bears Dive for Fish

Ingredients:
Green Jello
Gummy Bears
Gummy Fish or "Swedish" Fish
Glasses (clear plastic or glass)

Directions:
Prepare Jello according to package instructions. Pour liquid Jello into glasses and refrigerate until partially set (about 1 hour). Remove from refrigerator, and put gummy fish into the jello – Return to refrigerator and set until firm. Press gummy bears upside down into the set jello. Bears.....diving for fish!






Bears Bob for Fruit

Ingredients:
Green (or other color) Jello
Gummy Bears
Gummy Fruit
OR pieces of real fruit like pineapple, grapes, etc.
Glasses (clear plastic or glass)

Directions:
Prepare Jello according to package instructions. Pour liquid Jello into glasses and refrigerate until partially set (about 1 hour). Remove from refrigerator, and insert gummy fruit or real fruit pieces into the jello – suspended in the middle. Return to refrigerator and set until firm. Press gummy bears upside down into the set jello. Bears.....bobbing for fruit!






Bears at the Beach


Ingredients:
Blue Jello
Jello Instant Custard - Vanilla
Gummy Bears
Tiny Umbrellas used in tropical fruit drinks
Glasses (clear plastic work best)

Directions:
Prepare blue Jello according to package instructions. Pour liquid Jello into glasses and refrigerate until completely set . Prepare Instant Custard according to package instructions. Spoon some of the custard on top of one side of the jello – this is the sandy beach. Add a few bears, and insert an umbrella. Bears..... at the beach!
